- 1 banana
- 2 eggs
- Butter for cooking
- Toppings for serving
- Optional: ⅛ tsp baking powder for fluffier pancakes
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- Thoroughly mash the banana.
- If desired, add and mix in any additional flavorings or baking powder.
- Stir in the eggs.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and melt a little butter.
- Once heated, drop about 2 tablespoons of batter into the pan.
- Cook the pancakes until the bottoms look golden, about 1 minute.
- Flip the pancakes and cook for about another minute.
- Transfer onto a warm serving plate.
- Serve warm with any toppings of choice.
Tips
- Keep the pancakes small so that they cook more quickly and are easier to flip.
- Flip with a thin spatula.
