Baked Oats

Ingredients

Servings: 1

  • ½ cup rolled or quick oats
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ ripe banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tbsps chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Add all of the ingredients, except for the chocolate chips, into a blender and blend until fully combined.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Pour batter into a greased baking dish or 8 oz ramekin. Bake for 25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

Tips

  • After the oats are fully baked, add additional toppings. Drizzle more nut butter, add extra maple syrup, and maybe even a splash of milk!
