Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

Servings: 6

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 medium-sized carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2-3 dried bay leaves
  • Half a package of pasta
  • 1-2 potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 4-5 quarts water
  • Any desired spices

Instructions

  1. Add in water and chicken drumsticks into a pot. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. While cooking, remove the foam that appears on the surface on the water.
  2. Add in a skin-peeled onion, not diced or cut, along with bay leaves. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove the onion and bay leaves. Add in the carrots and celery.
  4. Salt to taste, or about ¾ tbsp salt.
  5. Cut the potatoe and add it into the soup. Cook until the potatoes soften.
  6. Add in uncooked pasta and mix right away.
  7. Add in any desired spices, such as parsely.
  8. Cook the soup until the pasta is ready. Serve.

Tips

  • Frozen mixed vegetables can also be used.
