Kotleti (Cutlets)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, chicken, turkey)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 slice of whole wheat bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the over to 350F.
  2. Dice the onion and fry with the vegetable oil for a few minutes.
  3. In a blender, blend together the cooked onion, bread, egg, and salt for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Mix with the ground meat and form patties.
  5. Grease a deep glass dish with butter and place in the patties.
  6. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes. Flip them and cook for another 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven.

Tips

  • Kotleti can be refrigerated once cooled and later reheated in a microwave.
