Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz. can pumpkin puree
  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp cloves
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 9 in. pie dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Mix together the pumpkin, sugar, and spices.
  3. Add the evaporated milk and eggs until well mixed.
  4. Pour into the pie shell.
  5. Bake at 425F for 15 min. Reduce temperature to 350F and bake for another 35-40 min.
  6. Cool completely before serving.

Tips

  • Do not over whisk the eggs. This will help avoid air pockets that can cause the pie to crack.
